“Delivery, engagement and feedback were outstanding,’
Head of Retail at VodafoneThree UK
Effective structured learning and development creates confidence and self-belief. It inspires proactivity, galvanises exploration, promotes enjoyment and it gives us the tools and the drive to better navigate our concerns. It helps us thrive within challenge.
All my training, coaching and development programmes are tailor-made. They can be designed as executive one-to-one sessions or group experiences, from small teams to whole-company cohorts, as stand-alone events or multi-module programmes spread over time; with single or multiple trainers; in person or remote. The work is always interactive, practical and engaging - it's about learning by doing (and preferably having fun while doing it).
Programmes are structured according to a client's needs and budget. Here are some Programme Examples.

Whether for existing coaches or for managers needing new tools to support, stretch and (healthily) challenge their people, this work helps build psychologically safe spaces in which to co-create exciting goals for growth and to robustly discuss and structure agreed-upon ways to get there.
Thinking differently can be hard, especially under pressure. Here we look at ways for individuals and teams to protect creative time and energy. We use techniques to expand the creative horizon. We explore how and where ‘thinking’ fits in with ‘doing’, how to beneficially involve AI, and how to get people on board these new and brilliant ideas.
Making decisions can take energy we often can’t spare. But with some structures in place, thinking clearly needn’t be quite so time-consuming. And persuading others to support a decision needn’t feel quite so challenging, either.
Quicker, better, clearer, more enjoyable, more expertly facilitated meetings and events. Who doesn’t want those?
Giving and receiving feedback is a foundational part of company and team culture. Unfortunately, innate things conspire to make it hard. Fortunately, there are proactive ways to create a feedback culture which is generative, supportive and also clear, so those 'difficult’ conversations become an opportunity for increased trust between colleagues and a thriving culture of high achievement.
Up, down or sideways, it’s an essential skill. Whether we’re looking to build rapport in the early stages of a business relationship or we’re at the business end of a negotiation, interpersonal connection makes all the difference. And having plans in place to approach it strategically can make confidence soar (as well as getting the thing across the line).
If effective leadership is social interaction with a clear direction, both those elements need to be flexible and responsive to change. Values and vision, inspiration and direction, responsiveness, boundaries and ownership – a leader’s mission is to understand themselves and to understand their people, so they can read every occasion well and rise to it.
Often people are excellent at what they do…and then they get promoted into managing others. Building trust, motivating people, training them, giving them feedback, managing everyone’s time, coaching, goal setting, creating the space for innovation. Management can be a complicated role! We look at practical tools for it all.
If you don’t believe the messenger, you won’t believe the message. But a whole load of things create interference, meaning we can give off ‘unhelpful vibes.’ Nerves, over-excitement, under-excitement, being unprepared, being over-prepared, working with people who simply think differently from us…whatever is interfering with connection, there will be many ways around it, so that peoples’ individual and authentic styles shine through.
Pitching successfully is as much about getting into their heads as it is about having the flexible structures to carry messages depending on the situation and response. Once that’s done, it’s about handling tricky questions in a way that inspires confidence. That way not only does the ‘thing’ get across the line, but valuable relationships are built on the way as well.
How to handle questions, how to handle nerves, how to handle slide decks or flipcharts, how to get the audience to behave as you’d like them to behave, how to get into their heads and make sure that your presentation is answering their needs as well as your own. How to be present. How exciting to have an array of concrete tools and techniques to get into all of these and more!
Getting the best out of people and teams often depends on the container they’re growing in. That culture will dictate whether teams are willing to push themselves, to innovate, to take the right sorts of risks; or not, and then, instead of growing, to stagnate. From micro to macro processes, we explore ways of working that create a growth mindset and help teams live and thrive.
For when things feel stuck, or when the team has become clogged with past issues (the causes of which might be clear but often aren’t (at least not in a way that everyone agrees on)). This work doesn’t only unstick things, it builds trust and gives people understanding of team dynamics and what everyone can do to be a proactive part of a supportive, self-generative and high-achieving culture.
For existing trainers to further explore and hone their skills. There’s the interpersonal and facilitative side of things; there’s also the content side of things, which might involve honing existing content or creating new exercises and processes for their teams.
On the surface after training, people might see better presentations, stronger leadership, more innovative processes, an increasingly vibrant culture or just an 'upskilled' team...
...but it's the deeper impact of training that makes people soar. The feelings the training inspires. Excitement, relief, drive, passion or connection - the aim of my training programmes is for emotions like these to carry the new skills back into the real world.
By creating a safe container for individuals and teams alike, we can then explore new ways to approach the world, to challenge and strengthen people's fresh skills and to help teams connect and work together better, finding their edge and hitting their goals.
